After listing the things you did well and enjoyed doing throughout your lifetime, list 2 or 3 things that kept coming up in each phase of your life. Then list 2 or 3 things you "love to do".
Look over your list of accomplishments again. Circle all verbs that denote actions performed while you were doing each achievement. Now compare those verbs to the list of specialized abilities on page 26 of your syllabus and list 2 or 3 abilities that you possess.
After completing the "How Do I See Myself" exercise (pp. 28-29), select the option that best describes you in each of the areas below.
Upon completing the exercise on experiences (p.30), list one or two experiences for each area. One sentence is acceptable (for example, one painful experience might be: "when my grandmother died"). Feel free to elaborate but no more than one or two paragraphs for each section.
What Ministry Area Does My Shape Best Fit? (10 bonus pts)
Upon reviewing your SHAPE (spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality and life experiences) name two or three ministries in the local church or para-church ministries that you think you are a "best fit". (i.e. Men or Women's ministry, senior or associate pastor, deacon, teacher, counselor, children's ministry, etc.). Then provide a one sentence reason why you chose that area of ministry (i.e. I have a heart to see children grow in Christ).
